Free Redbox Moview with RBXLUV4U

There is a new promo code RBXLUV4U that will give you a free one-night movie rental Sunday or Monday at your local Redbox and it expires on Monday, March 1 at 11:59pm CT.  Thanks goes to MoJo Savings for passing this new code along.  You can only use one code per transaction, so if you want to use more than one code just make two transactions.

You need to make sure you return your one-night movie rental before it’s due to avoid an additional night’s rental fee of $1.00. And Amy at MomAdvice says you can use each promo code more than once if you use it with a different credit card. Check to find your closest Redbox location, there are over 17,000. These codes can only be used “at-the-Redbox” kiosk and can not be used online to reserve the movie you want.

Other codes that are probably still valid:
DVDATWAG (works only at Walgreens locations)
DVDONME

Review: Melvita Hydrastim Moisturizing Gel

Melvita has been a pioneer in the field of organic beauty for more than 25 years and a passionate advocate for the complete organic lifestyle. Melvita has received several awards from beauty editors and magazines for the quality and expertise of its products in France. Melvita is the most quoted brand in French cosmetic « bible », a famous french cosmetics written by Laurence Wittner.

All of Melvita’s products carry the prestigious certification by ECOCERT, France’s leading organic certification organization. They are made with a unique blend of nature’s own treasures. Melvita favors the use of the finest ingredients from organically farmed and responsibly harvested sources, with respect of nature being their priority. Their products remain natural and organic, while feeling luxurious, and being extremely effective.

Melvita is involved in a pro-active approach to sustainable development, with preservation of environmental: beauty, biodiversity, and balance. They make every effort to promote ethical, humane, and fair-trade partnerships.

I’ve been using the Melvita Hydrastim Moisturizing Gel ($34), which is great for dehydrated skin and oily/combination skin. It combines the benefits of noni, mourera and aloe vera in an organic certified face care product. I haven’t used it on my face all the way since I didn’t want it to conflict with some of the products I’m currently using. I liberally apply this around my eye area for smoother and firmer skin as their site promises. I haven’t used it long enough to reap the full benefits, but I like how instantly the eye area appears naturally brighter and revitalized.

Hydrastim provides lasting moisturization for dull and dehydrated skins and helps to reduce expression lines . The gel combines aloe vera, the extract of an Amazonian river plant, mourera fluviatilis , and hyaluronic acid derived from soya, which all provide remarkable hydro-regulating effects to keep the skin at its ideal moisturization level. This action is reinforced by a protective complex based on honey, lemon pectin, phospholipids and an extract of noni, a Polynesian plant with cleansing, anti-free radical and revitalizing properties.

Review: Avon SuperExtend Mascara

OK. I received several products from Avon to try out and review, but I want to focus on the SuperExtend Mascara since you can get this mascara for $3.99 for a limited time and I don’t want my readers to miss out on a great deal! Once the deal is over, it goes back to the regular price, which is $8.50.

Thanks to Lash Allure MD ($49.50), my eyelashes are thick and somewhat long. The SuperExtend Mascara makes it look like I’m wearing falsies, which I wish I was an expert at applying! I received the black, and I plan on getting the other colors as well – Navy, Brown and Brown/Black. It visibly lengthens lashes up to 55%. The molded brush works with their unique super-stretch formula to coax and comb every lash up, out and away. Innovative stretch-formula with unique triangular-shape fibers lengthen lashes beyond belief. Best of all, the waterproof formula is very easy to remove with eye make-up remover. Personally, I use coconut oil to remove since it makes my lashes soft and lush.

Spacious, Spill Safe and Loads of Style!

In case you’ve missed out on the deets, I was selected for Team Refrigerator for Frigidaire Appliance Test Drive. I’m very excited about my new fridge. I love all of the shelf space that we didn’t have in our other fridge. We really enjoy getting groceries now because we know that we aren’t limited to the small amount the freezer in the other one could accommodate.

The extra bins, food-storage containers, rack extenders, etc., makes it easy to organize. keep food, and easy to find when we need a particular item. No more moving things around or taking things out to get what I want.

The stainless steel with the protective coating is easy to clean, especially with a three year old toddler that seems to like the new fridge as much as we do. I was imagining all of his fingerprints and smudges on it before it was delivered.

We’re in love with the Spill Safe shelves. They are designed to keep spills held within. That really will help to clean when a mess is made, even though we haven’t made a mess yet.

OK.
I’m not much of a soda fan (I will have a Sprite occasionally), but I love this feature! I keep soda around in case I have company and I’ve found this feature to be really useful.

I’m hoping to update later on with my first video. In the mean time, I’m trying to get a hang of the Flip. ~lol~

You can also follow along the Test Drive Team’s conversation on Twitter, with the hashtag #FrigidaireMoms. We’re excited to see what everyone has to say! For more information on Frigidaire’s new time-saving appliances and a chance to win appliances yourself go to http://www.frigidaire.com

Review: In Kristine’s Shower

Have you ever heard of a sugar scrub that you can use from head to toe? Me neither until I tried out the Body Frosting Sugar Scrub in Jumpin’ Juniper ($16.49), which is bright blue and purple. It smells very perfumeish, and is very gentle on the skin. You can use it before shampooing for a shiny flake free head of hair, to exfoliate your legs after shaving, scrub your heels for softer feet or use it as a facial scrub for glowing results! Most scrubs this versatile would be costly, but not In Kristine’s Shower. This body scrub is available in two different sizes and is available in over 30 scents. We love the sound of scents such as Pink Cupcakes, Sunny Days and Vanilla Sugar – yum!

No boring lip gloss here. The Lava Gloss ($5) is very similar to a lava lamp. All you have to do is pick one up and turn it upside down, and you’ll see how this unique gloss got its name. I received the Cheeky Cherry flavor, and I love it. It gives my lips a perfectly natural red tinge.

Filled with vitamin E, these will not only leave your lips glossy, they will leave them healthy as well!

I’m more of a shower person, but once in awhile I love taking baths and sprucing them up with bath oils or bath bombs. I was able to do just that with the Pack of 6 Bath Bombs ($10.49) that I received. I honestly don’t know what scents that I received since the package wasn’t labeled, but each bath bomb smelled really good. I really liked that they were slow at dissolving. My skin felt soft and moisturized after the bath. I was impressed that these bath bombs didn’t make the tub greasy like some had in the past.

These Single Bath Bombs ($2), Pack of 4 Bathbombs ($7.49), Pack of 12 Bathbombs ($17.99) and Men’s Bathbombs ($1.80) are also available. Feeling a little generous? Check out the Bucket ‘O Bombs Gift ($17.50).
